Visually grade green and/or kiln dry hardwood lumber according to NHLA rules
Grade at production speed, while maintaining grading accuracy
Work safely and help maintain a safe work environment
Read and understand production schedules.
Work closely with operations to maintain lumber quality.
NHLA certification desired
If not NHLA certified, having a willingness to obtain certification.
Possesses ability to accurately apply NHLA rules.
Minimum of one (1) year experience grading green and/or kiln dried hardwood lumber
Proficient with basic math skills
Reliable individual with an excellent attendance record
Ability to lift up to 50lbs, walking, stairs, pushing, pulling, repetitive motion, kneeling, squatting and balancing, exposure to loud noises and dust.
Demonstrate and maintain a positive, team-oriented work ethic.
Pay will be commensurate with prior grading experience.
Full-time position with overtime hours. 1st shift work schedule, Monday through Friday.
