In-Person Inspector Training School Program
- $100 deposit due at time of registration.
- Total Tuition: $4,060 due and payable 10 days before the course start date. This includes $150 of required supplies.
The Hybrid Online Inspector Training Program is composed of 3 Modules:
MODULE 1
- $50 due at the time of registration.
- $2,100 is due and payable 10 days before the course start date.
- Tuition includes $150 of required supplies.
MODULE 2
- $1,940 due at least one week before class starts
MODULE 3
- $50 due at the time of registration.
- $1,290 is due and payable 10 days before the course start date.
Inspector Training School Educational Foundation (ITSEF) Scholarship
In 2015, Inspector Training School Educational Foundation started a scholarship fund to assist prospective students interested in starting or furthering their careers in the hardwood lumber industry. Scholarships are available to students who enroll in the traditional 8-week program in Memphis, TN, and are not employed in the hardwood lumber industry at the time of enrollment. ITSEF scholarships are awarded based on financial need, academic record, and leadership qualities. Scholarships that are approved by ITSEF are reimbursed up to the amount of $4,060. All scholarship applications must be submitted no later than ten (10) days before the course start date to be considered.

Tennessee Higher Education Commission
The NHLA Inspector Training School is authorized for operation as a post-secondary education institution by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission.
