Mark has been working in the hardwood lumber industry since he was a teenager. In 1986, he started by mowing grass at Anthony Timberlands, Inc. in Gurdon, Arkansas, and was eventually moved to the sawmill to straighten lumber for the Inspectors. Mark learned everything he could from the Inspectors and eventually decided to attend the NHLA Inspector Training School in 1994. He graduated with the 113th class and was hired by Anderson-Tully Lumber Company. Throughout his career, Mark has held numerous positions, including Mill Manager and Inspector. Mark has been an NHLA National Inspector since 2017.
