Position Description

Reining Forest Products is a family run sawmill that has been operating since 1944. We specialize in Softwood industrial and wholesale lumber but cut both soft and hard woods. We are seeking a sawyer with 3-5 years of experience cutting softwood or hardwood. Ownership of saw maintenance is a must. If interested, give us a call to discuss joining our team.

Responsibilities:
Carry out daily cutting orders
Operating 2 circular head saws and band re-saw
Work within the team to complete orders
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Carry out maintenance on saws in a preventative and post breakdown manner

Skills & Experience Required

3-5 years experience sawing
Able to recognize ideal cutting patterns to accomplish optimal yield from each log
Familiarity of mill operations
Maintenance experience with various tools
Strong attention to detail
Reliable Work Ethic

Salary & Benefits

Salary varies on experience $24-$27/ hr
