Emporium Hardwoods Operating Company LLC, a leading hardwood lumber manufacturing company situated in the rolling hills of Northwestern Pennsylvania, is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Programmer/Electrician for our Emporium, Pennsylvania location. The Industrial Programmer/Maintenance Electrician plays a critical role in troubleshooting and repairing production equipment to keep machines operating efficiently.
Job Responsibilities
· Install and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) using skills to troubleshoot with communications software.
· Perform preventative maintenance and industrial electrician duties to ensure that all machinery is functioning at full capacity at all times; apply all applicable safety precautions and perform duties in an efficient and profitable manner that promotes safety and superior employee relations.
· Installs, monitors, tests, repairs and replaces electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
· Troubleshoots and repairs distribution system malfunctions.
· Dismantles electrical machinery and replaces defective electrical or mechanical parts.
· Interprets blueprints, schematics, diagrams, works from sketches or verbal instructions.
· Adheres to all safety standards and performs duties in compliance with company safety policies and procedures, and all regulations.
