Managing Director of Manufacturing

Bingaman & Son Lumber, Inc
Position Description

•Responsible for overseeing the end-to-end production and development of manufactured items, ensuring quality standards, timely delivery, and continuous improvement in processes and outcomes.
•Oversee the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing department, including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
•Identify areas for lean manufacturing principles, process improvement and implement strategies to optimize production workflows, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.
•Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in manufacturing, and actively seek opportunities to leverage new technologies or methodologies to improve manufacturing processes.

Skills & Experience Required

Knowledge of NHLA hard wood lumber grading rules, advanced knowledge of the lumber industry including pricing & costing is preferred; and adhere to the company’s Mission Statement, Vision Statement and Leadership Competencies and Core Values.
