Every year, the Hardwood Forest Foundation holds its Annual Golf Tournament during the NHLA Convention. This year, the tournament will be held at Markland Wood Golf Club. Cost to play is $275 before August 10. Golf club rental is available but limited. Breakfast and registration begin at 7:00am with a Shotgun start at 8:30 am.

Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the educational efforts of the Hardwood Forest Foundation. This non-profit (501C3 recognized) foundation is dedicated to educating the public about the importance of sustainable management and wise utilization of our forests. NHLA Inspector Training School Alumni Reception

The NHLA Inspector Training School invites all alumni to a reception. Enjoy complimentary beer, wine, hors d’oeuvres and good company as hundreds of alumni gather together to reminisce, visit with former classmates and hear the latest news from the School.
After Hours Reception at the Hockey Hall of Fame
Wednesday, October 3: 6-9pm
Located in the heart of downtown Toronto, the Hockey Hall of Fame is an experience like no other. It is home to the Stanley Cup and the best of hockey, you can DO IT ALL...AT THE HALL.
Go one-on-one against life-size, animated versions of today's greatest goalies and shooters, including Carey Price and Sidney Crosby; call the play-by-play of some of hockey's greatest goals; view hockey flicks like Stanley's Game Seven and explore the largest collection of hockey memorabilia in the world! On Wednesday evening, the Hockey Hall of Fame will be open after hours for full facility access to all of the displays and features that the HHOF has to offer. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served. Transportation will be provided, or you can enjoy the few block trip by foot.*
Thursday Evening Closing Party
Thursday, October 4: 6pm
Join us on Thursday night as NHLA ushers-in the 61st NHLA President to office and concludes the convention in true gala style. Cocktails begin at 6pm, followed by a gourmet dinner and entertainment. Pre-registration is required. Sign up and pay when completing convention registration.*
*Anyone NOT paying for full registration may attend the Welcome Reception and the Thursday Night Reception at a cost of $40 US dollars per person, and the Grand Finale Dinner at a cost of $150 US dollars per person. Name badges will not be issued with reception tickets.

A trip to Niagara would not be complete without an up-close look at the breathtaking Falls and beautiful surrounding region!
Niagara Falls is a Canadian jewel, captivating tourists around the world. This exciting tour will start in Niagara Falls, complete with commentated tour and take you to following unique stops:
To start off, guests will have ample opportunity to view the falls at Table Rock Welcome Centre and have the best photo opportunities. Next, guests Journey Behind the Falls to experience the power of the water from below! For the finale, head to the top of the Skylon Tower for a gorgeous view of the Falls from above. Free time for lunch in either Clifton Hill or Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Bus will depart from the Sheraton Centre for the 1 ½ hour trip to Niagara returning to the hotel at 5pm. Pre-registration is required. The cost to attend this tour is $100.
