Hardwoods 101

Hardwoods 101 is designed to offer the basic ins-and-outs of all things hardwood. Attendees will follow lumber from the forest to the market in this four-day program, as it highlights the following:

  • Woods Tour

  • Sawmill Tour
  • Uses for Lumber
  • Standard Grading and Drying
  • Imports
  • Marketplace

This program is perfect for those individuals that are just joining the hardwood industry or maybe have been a part of it for years and just want to know more about the inner-workings of the business. Some of these individuals may include company office staff or salespersons.
