Advanced Lumber Drying

Advanced Lumber Drying 1 ¾ day class is designed for drying managers and supervisors, persons in sales and marketing, as well as drying operators that have drying experience. Quality improvement is a basic theme throughout, as well as techniques to increase profitability.

As opposed to the Basics of Drying Course, the Advanced Lumber Drying Course explores manipulation of air flow, advanced kiln schedules, quality improvement measurements and much more.

Instructor:
Gene Wengert has over the past 45 years with the United States Forest Service, Virginia Tech and the University of Wisconsin, written many texts and hundreds of articles on drying hardwood lumber. He is known for translating the complex into down-to-earth practical procedures.
