Advocacy

NHLA makes sure your voice is heard in D.C. We are a founder and partner of the Hardwood Federation, created to represent a strong voice for the hardwood industry on legislative issues impacting the hardwood communities. NHLA’s government relations program helps develop policy positions that the Federation pursues to ensure laws and regulations are favorable to hardwood interests, provides education to lawmakers and policy makers on the benefits of the hardwood industry and raises money to support candidates who are industry friendly.
