Summer Housing Information at Northwest Michigan College

The North Hall Residence can be rented during the summer and is a perfect location for NHLA students wanting a convenient and affordable place to stay. Along with each room rental the following amenities are included: Wi-Fi throughout campus, access to the fitness center in North Hall and parking. Cable is available if guests bring their own television.

About Traverse City

Traverse City is on the shores of Lake Michigan’s Grand Traverse Bay. It’s known for the annual National Cherry Festival. Nearby, the Dennos Museum Center has an Inuit art collection and works by Michigan artists. On the outskirts, Traverse City State Park has a beach and trails. Wuerfel Park is the stadium home of the Traverse City Beach Bums baseball team.

The warm season lasts for 3.6 months, from May 29 to September 16, with an average daily high temperature above 70°F. The hottest day of the year is July 19, with an average high of 80°F and low of 61°F.
